The pizza at Folliero resembles old-school New York slices so closely that rumors have flown that Tony Folliero—who mixes the dough each morning—imports N.Y.C. tap water for the job. Though such gossip may be unfounded, this hole-in-the-wall nonetheless draws raves for its crisp, slightly sweet crust and fresh mozzarella. Exposed brick walls, jazz on the stereo and cheap carafes of house wine have made Folliero a hipster haven.
