Pizzeria Uno

If your looking for a great deep dish pizza on a weekday this is the place. The pizza was very well made and had much flavor. If your a beer fan then this place has a nice selection of beers to choose from to go with your pizza. The only down side is the place was small and our waitress who was very nice but not didnt check if we needed anything enough times ( i finished my beer and had to get up and get my own) My friends and i went on a Monday evening at it was pretty jammed pack with people. All in all the pizza was very good but i would want to try duo next time for some more room.

Love it it but the last time we went our server was no where to be found. She came to our table about a total of3 times. we waited about 20 minutes for her to take the bill she never came so we gave it to someone else. we walked out side and there was the missing waitress smoking in an alley talking to a man on a bike, it has great food but lately terribble service and i mean terrible

Stay away from here if you don't like terrible service. My wife and I were told it would be a 45min wait to seat a party of two, we waited over an hour and were never seated. So we left, never to return!

Pizzeria Uno has the best deep dish pizza in Chicago ( it kicks Gino's and Giordano's rear end )! When dining in...Uno's could possibly be the most affordable joint in the downtown area where you are actually "served" your food. Pizza's do take 45-60 minutes to bake..but honestly it will likely take at least 30-40 minutes to get your meal anywhere else, too. So a hint to tourists...quit looking like you're so shocked when you visit Unos. Instead play it cool and blend in with other Chicagoans and enjoy the dining experience which is very unique. Everytime I go into that joint people are quite rude to the hosts who are just trying to do their job and get your pizza order started for you at the door. The hosts will tell you they do such to minimize the amount of time to get your pizza to your table because it may take another 10 minutes to get your pizza started for you once seated if you don't order at the door. Back to the pizza....the PIZZA is Fantastic! It's made from scratch and only fresh ingredients! Spinach, sausage, mushroom...or 4 Cheese and Pesto with Chicken are the best! Relax and enjoy your experience in an authentic, affordable Chicago pizza house....literally a house. Great job UNO!

I know a thing or two about the wait from being a host at Uno's for two years! People, the pizzas take 45-60 min to cook because it's made fresh to order (even for hungry hosts). We take the order at the door to get your pizzas to you faster! It's all about coustomer service, we do try!
Report This ReviewTerrible. Started at the door. Even though it was way before the dinner rush, I had to order my dinner before I was seated. The "host" would only shrug when asked a question. I should have left then. After 15 minutes of sitting and not one person stopping by my table, I got my own drink from the bar. Eventualy I gave up trying to get a waiter and sat at the bar. When My pizza did come out it was dry and tasteless. If Uno's is a representative of the great "Chicago Pizza", I really dont get it. This place was recomended by a friend. He now tells me it was years ago since he last ate there. Years ago maybe, but Uno's sucks now.
Report This ReviewSkip it. This place was recomended by a friend, and I stopped by on a recent business trip. Rude from the get go. Before you are seated you must place your order, even though there were plenty of tables atnd swell before toheh rush. The "host" would only shrug when asked about a menu item stating "I'm not a waiter". Speaking of which, neither which, neither was anyone else. I was seated, and waited, and waited, and waited. After getting up a second time to get my own drink from the bar, I gave up and sat there instead. The batender was the only saving grace of this pizza joint. When the pizza did come, it was very dry and tasteless. Chicago Pizza?? Whats the big deal?? If you go to Uno's, you will wonder the same thing. Save your time and money, go somewhere else.
Report This ReviewGreat atmosphere , great location, but not great food. Not a true representation of Chicago pizza. Out of towners and Suburbanites are easily fooled. 1 trip there is enough.
Report This ReviewI was there on 9/19. The hostess got my order wrong. There were 3 of us and according to the waitress, we ordered 2 small pizzas. I'm positive I ordered medium pizzas since I used to love the leftovers. Pizza took forever. Later in the meal, we asked for one slice to be reheated. Took 15 minutes to get that ONE slice back. The crust was not as good as in the past and the pizza lacked flavor.
