Verrazano's Pizza: User Reviews
Verrazano's Pizza
612 N. La Brea Ave. - Los Angeles323-933-1744
I have driven everywhere and eaten every pie in LA and have the coolie to show for it. I am a native New York. I am a woman who never ordered a red gravy and meatballs outside of my own grandmother's kitchen. But Grandma has passed on and I left Brooklyn for LA and found myself leaving pizza joint after pizza joint feeling misled and brokenhearted...then I walked in Verrazano's Pizza on LeBrea @Melrose. The search is over. Not only does their pizza make me no longer long for my homeland of Flatlands Avenue but the meatball are so light, they remind me of my own grandmother's recipe. Please as a favor to me and a favor for millions of displaced NYs,.. go, mange (eat), & keep these people in business...I will be forced to move back home if they close.

We LOVE this place. The food is delicious, the service is extremely friendly and the cost is very fair.
We have tried all the pizzas and my family keeps ordering almost every week. The Bianca and Denino are GOD. Pepperoni and Original reminds us of home. And we eat in as often as we order out because the staff is so friendly.
If you haven't been here, just go. You will keep coming back.
