Out-of-towners will kvetch "Only in L.A.: A coffeehouse that doesn't serve coffee." They're not wrong. It's just espresso here, served up to recovering goths, Hollywood floozies and other various neighborhood residents. The music stays cranked up, all the better to match the surging caffeine-fueled energy of the clientele. Probably better suited for smoozing and canoodling than, say, finishing your screenplay. Also, be sure to check out the tiny forest that's sprouted recently in the back room. We’re serious.
