Gino Angelini and Gianluca Sarti are working with the times. Recently, they've taken La Terza in Beverly Hills and transformed it into an affordable trattoria called Minestraio. The culinary crafting of these Italian masters combines with a comfortable, approachable atmosphere that allows for slow evenings and good conversation (Glasses of wine ranging from 6-8 bucks help too!). The pastas are all hand made, showcasing the native talent in Minestraio's kitchen. Don't miss out on the beef carpaccio, tagletti with proscuitto and peas, or a bottle of Bosco Montepulciano d' Abruzzo. Full service meals are available at the bar as well, which is adorned by an red old-school Italian butcher's scale. Plenty of Italians hang out here—a testament to the gusto of the Angelini/Sarti partnership.
