I went to Bar Celona for two reasons, it was recommended by my friend and out of my search for good restaurants in LA. So, the ambiance is amazing. It is small, loud, and the music is what you would hear in Spain. Yet, they kept playing the same guitar song over and over, which was a bit annoying. I dunno if they changed it because I have not returned to Bar Celona in two years. The food was good, but not excellent. I had paella, which they had a lot to choose from, but I was not satisfied. I felt there was something missing so it could blow me off my chair. Yet, the ambiance, chatting with friends, having some pan tomaca, and the dessert was good. I think there was a change in chef so there might be a difference in flavor. Yet, when I go to Pasadena, which is often, I always see it packed.
