The perfect night

I had such a great time here last weekend. The perfect night at Saddle Ranch included some of the best food Ive had in a long time, seating on their awesome patio with the heaters on full blast, riding the oh so scary mechanical bull and getting a picture of it, and meeting some really nice people from out of town. I love that they dont charge a cover and dont discriminate...which is oh so rare for Sunset Strip. I will definitely make this a place I go to on a regular basis from now on. Make sure you try their rib eye....yum!

First off, I loved Saddle Ranch when it first opened. One of my favorite places on the weekend. Now though... it has gone downhill. It is still has a very good nightlife on most night but there is just SO much drama that I hate going there now. Too many young adults who want to start problems over nothing. Overall the crowd is great but just a handful of these idiots are mixed in and cause problems every time I'm there. Not necessarily with me but with others and only once with me because one of the girls I went with didn't want to dance with the guy. I'm just saying go at your own risks, sometimes it's great but other times it's drama.

this place really is so much fun!

I love that there is a place where all the BS is just not necessary. There's no guys trying to look cool with bottle service so they can scam on all the girls. There's no "Mean Girls" trying to make every one else feel less than. This place really was super kick back fun. A group of us had a blast. Drinks, good food (and CHEAP!), hanging out. There's these guys that walk around playing the guitar and they'll play pretty much everything you request. You have to ask for them to do Britney Spears. HILARIOUS! I'm just glad that there is a place that has no pretention but is still lively and full and fun!

My kind of place

I like to try new places in LA but I somehow always find myself coming back to the Ranch. It seems like they’re always open and I can always get in with no hassle. I really just love everything about this place but mainly watching people try to ride the bull. It’s like watching a comedy show but the drinks are wayyyyyy cheaper than any comedy club I’ve ever been to! It’s nice being able to go somewhere in LA and not feel like you just wasted your night and your money. Go Saddle Ranch!!!

All around the best

On my 2nd visit to the Saddle Ranch I finally figured out why I like this place so much, it’s the prefect all around bar in LA. The location on the strip is ideal, parking is easy, the staff is really friendly and the drinks and food are delicious. It is so hard to find a place in LA that’s just easy to get into and no fuss, but I think that saddle ranch knows what they’re doing.

Sunday Brunch!
By MarcusP from West Hollywood, January 28, 2009

It is all about the bottomless bloody mary's at Saddle Ranch for Sunday Brunch! Last Saturday a friend of mine celebrated her birthday at a club downtown and so on Sunday we were all hurting and decided to do a little brunch at Saddle Ranch. It was amazing! The food was great and huge! But the highlight of my day was those bloody mary's. So cheap to! like 10 bucks!
I think I'm gonna come every Sunday to take care of my hangovers.

We had a Blast!

My girlfriends and I went last night and we had such a good time! The crowd was nice but not too many people, the food was good and the drinks! Hello?!? Just one of those Adios' in a carafe and you are sailing. We had such a good time. My friend was debating whether on not to ride the bull and the manager came over, introduced himself, bought us a round of drinks and totally talked catherine into riding the bull. I died.
All in all, I think this place is super chill, no dress code like everyother place on the strip, and super laid back. We loved it. And I want to come back try the big brunch they do on sunday with bottomless mimosas.
Yes Please!

Go for the Fun NOT the Food
By MissDiva from Los Angeles, November 26, 2008

Saddle Ranch is a cool place. It brings a huge amount of young adults ranging from their 20s to Mid-30s. The other groups that are attracted to this fun-filled place are business folks that are looking to take their hair down, have drinks, and release stress after a long day's of work, or just want to HAVE FUN. My friends invited me to come to enjoy the ambiance, the Saddle contests (where you pay to enter, but win more money if you win 1st or 2nd place), and the service from the employees. My favorite part was the guys going around table to table singing your requests and playing it with their guitars and/or banjos. The action as well as the opportunity to mingle with other patrons in the restaurant was my favorite part. The food was the worse. Definitely didn't have a good taste. It seems they have their focus on the wrong F-word...Fun and not Food.

I was looking forward to dining at Saddle Ranch and thought it would be a good place for dinner....Was i wrong, my good was terrible...It tasted as if it came straight out of the microwave...I was so disappointed but the ambiance was great...The waiters were so hot....It was funny watching people ride the mechanical bull....It's a good place for people watching and maybe having drinks but not so good food...
