Downtown is now flush with the riches of Italy, as Celestino Drago invades the financial district with Drago Centro, located in an elegantly renovated former Bank of America. Like Drago’s other L.A. joints, the menu at Centro is traditional Italian with a California twist and features such decadence as foie gras crème caramel and risotto cakes with octopus. Invest in some time at the bar for a glass of vino from a globally comprehensive list featuring more than 1,000 wines. For the truly exclusive, the vault has been transformed into the private dining room, complete with a flat screen showing a live feed from the kitchen.
