From the simple mix of gummy, amber-colored tapioca balls, condensed milk and honey in black tea to the addition of fruit flavors, lychee jellies, custard-like pudding, whip cream, slushies and smoothies, Lollicup has been at the forefront of the boba tea (or bubble tea) revolution. Before sucking a tapioca ball through the wide, bright-colored straw, just know “boba” is Taiwanese slang for nipples. Change of mind? Opt for the “frozen yogurt”, scandalously similar to Pinkberry.
