Churrasco is the Brazilian word for barbecue, but it means so much more than that. It means enormous chunks of meat cooked over open flames, then served straight off swords (yes, swords) onto the diner’s plate. It also means about 15 varieties of beef plus bacon-wrapped chicken and pok ribs, and a buffet of sides like mashed potatoes and bean salads. Not to mention all the rum-based drinks. Finally, the experience is interactive: guests are given a mallet painted green and red. Leave the green side up when you’re hungry for more, and turn it to the red side when you’re finally done.
