It is becoming more and more rare to find good places where the owner chef actually prepares the food. Though Tenmasa has a reputation as the "loud pre- & post- hang out after clubs", the real reason to go there is simply the food.
The owners are health conscious and it reflects in all their preparations. The miso is hand crafted on the premises; the sushi is always fresh; theres is even a macrobiotic menu upon request; best of all, they always make you feel at home despite being located in the heart of the Strip with all its madness. The service is not always perfect but if you're looking for a real simple, straight forward and reasonably priced Japanese food, try Tenmasa!
