Spending a lazy, lethargic Sunday in bed always seems like a really good idea in the morning, but once you've recovered from the previous night's party and the sun begins to set on your day of interior admiration, that's when the self-loathing begins. It's kind of like that really good feeling you get indulging in Beard Papa's, almost immediately followed by eater's remorse once your digestive system starts to kick in. Why not spend the day working off those empty calories accrued over the weekend by attending the South Park Flea Market, taking place every Sunday—rain or shine—in Downtown L.A.? With vendors selling everything from fine art to knit caps to used records to funky jewelry, there's no reason not to go.
Join the South Park flea market as they re-open grandly on June 1. Their new incarnation (right across the street from the Staples Center) features more of the same good stuff, but this time, they've added a certified Farmer's market, bands and DJs.
