I've always loved McQueen and when I heard about the store opening in L.A. I couldn't be happier being a huge fan and an Angeleno myself for 30 something years now. So, I visited the store, and what a nightmare. I came in and could not recognize anyone, whatever, there's a snooty girl running around in a gold dress in a store that is really small and restrictive, and the representation of the collection is so limiting that you soon walk in and walk out, but the "creme de la creme" was the manager,Stephanie, she's a sweetheart of Melrose if you like the sound of finger nails scratching ever so slowly and hard on a chalk board. All my friends said the same thing, the vibe of the store is creepy and we're not coming back, we'll go to department stores instead.
