Neon plaid—a great idea in theory

Every city has its unofficial uniform. New York has basic black, Atlantic City has the guido tuxedo (tracksuits, usually of the velour variety), and—though Miami might think it has a corner on the market—Los Angeles has swimwear. Many may argue that jeans and a t-shirt are much more definitive, but when it comes to the L.A. look, skin has always been in.
