The one-time Universal Amphitheatre is now sponsored by the legendary Gibson guitar company, hence the recent name change. Located in the theme park/consumer orgy known as Universal CityWalk, the Gibson is where you'll catch music superstars like Gwen Stefani, Deftones and Mary J. Blige rocking the stage in front up to more than 6,000 adoring fans. It also hosts the annual Teen Choice Awards. There are great sight lines, and the acoustics are better than expected in this state-of-the-art facility (good enough for Bill Gates to model his own amphitheatre on it).
