7. 'The West Wing'

Even turkeys need a presidential pardon every once in a while. It may be a tradition held by our own president, but Jed seems to think it's a little ridiculous on this Thanksgiving episode of "The West Wing." C.J. has to choose which of the two finalist feathered friends is more photogenic (the other becomes dinner!), but C.J. doesn’t have the heart to send one bird to the serving platter, so she convinces Jed to pardon both. Hard on crime, soft on turkeys.
