Duquan "Dukie" Weems (Jermaine Crawford) is one of the more heartbreaking characters in Season 4. His parents are drug addicts and often steal his belongings to sell. He is bullied for his lack of cleanliness until teacher (and Season 1 main character) Prez gives him some clean clothes. Eventually, even this bright student turns to the drug trade as his only option.
