low-key cocktails and a bit of grub

here are some of my favorite dive, dingy or simply dark bars, with some grub joints sprinkled into the mix. in other words, drink in the dark but never on an empty stomach.

When i'm feeling silly and i need to hear bad jazz, this is the joint. i always prefer a woman behind the bar, and this place dissappoints in that regard. but the bad jazz never dissappoints.
