You can't compost your roommate's couch-hogger boyfriend but the folks at the Griffith Park Composting Facility have it covered for teaching Angelenos about composting everything from coffee grinds to egg shells to leftover veggies. Your garden and the environment will smile back at you.
Workshops are every 4th Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Eco-conscious folks can also buy a solid method for composting with bins that are offered for sale at a discounted rate. Bin sales are the 2nd Friday of every month from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and on days of workshops.
